Job Summary

Seekinga Summer Internfor System Engineering Automation focused on developing cutting-edge automation solutions using Python AI tools and open-source technologies. This role involves optimizing IT operationsand using AI tools to buildintegrationsthat enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools cloud platforms and infrastructure automationwhile contributing to real-world projects.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts and workflows using Pythonand AI toolsto enhance IT operations and business processes.
• Leverage open-source technologiesto build scalable automation solutions for system engineering tasks.
• Use AI tools to develop integrationsfor predictive analysis and intelligent decision-making in IT workflows.
• Assist in automating infrastructure provisioning monitoring and troubleshootingusing modern DevOps tools.
• Integrate automation with business applicationsto improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Work with APIs cloud platforms and containerization technologies like Dockerand Kubernetesfor automation.
• Document automation workflows and provide knowledge-sharing sessions for the team.

Education & Experience

• Education Level Required: Bachelors / Masters
• Majors: Computer Engineering
• Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in coding is a plus.
• Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.

Skills & Other Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Software development using Python and open source technologies
• Additional Information:
• Internship Duration: 10 14 weeks.

Working Conditions

• This role will be based on-site in Santa Clara.
• Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
• Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
• Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
