The Credit Estimates team is a close-knit team of analysts predominantly based out of Toronto and New York but also with analysts in Europe and Asia. The team works very closely to serve the critical middle market CLO constituency and other smaller leveraged loan issuers. Our global team has a fast-paced workflow and we need to communicate seamlessly and collegially across groups. The interactions are largely internal though there are several opportunities to speak with CLO Managers explaining our CE rationale and our methodology Our team serves as one of the best learning opportunities for credit analysis and how S&P performs its analytical function.

The Impact and Responsibilities
Impact
This role delivers highquality Credit Estimates used across S&P Global Ratings to inform CLO ratings and client decisionmaking. The Senior Analyst will influence internal ratings outcomes and support market participants access to capital.
Responsibilities
Manage and review credit estimates for multiple CLO transactions ensuring analytical rigor and consistency with S&P criteria.
Interact with clients on criteria and methodology including explaining CE rationale to CLO managers; support client outreach and credit research initiatives.
Partner with Leveraged Finance and Sector teams to identify and incorporate emerging trends in Private Credit into analysis.
Review and validate financial models written analyses and company evaluations prepared by Research Assistants and Ratings Analysts.
Provide detailed financial analysis and recommendations to support ratings and research projects.
Mentor train and upskill junior analysts and research assistants; provide constructive feedback and technical coaching.
Contribute to client outreach and credit research initiatives to deepen the teams market insight.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to Canadian Candidates:) S&P Global states that the anticipated range of compensation for this position is CAD 100000 to CAD 129000. Final compensation for this role will be based on the individuals performance geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and accordance with Ontarios new regulations effective January 1 2026 this job posting provides information on expected compensation. What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 3 years of extensive experience in credit analysis or related financial services.
Masters degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Accounting Mathematics and/or CFA designation.
Demonstrated experience managing and reviewing credit estimates or credit opinions for CLOs or leveragedloan portfolios.
Strong analytical skills with deep understanding of financial statement analysis accounting concepts and S&P Global criteria (e.g. Corporate Methodology CCC).
Proven ability to mentor and develop junior talent and to deliver clear written and oral communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency with financial models attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Effective stakeholder management and collaboration across functions.
Resilience and adaptability under pressure; ability to prioritize competing demands.
Strong judgment and decisionmaking within defined parameters.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working directly with CLO managers or in privatecredit investor relations.
Experience contributing to credit research publications or client outreach programs.
Advanced Excel and financialmodeling skills.
