We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Support Analyst on day shift to work across Fabrication or Assembly areas working with the Manufacturing Manager Quality and Engineering teams to keep the manufacturing build process moving forward by addressing emergent and long-term issues and opportunities. This is a full-time permanent position based onsite in Port Melbourne.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leading coordinating and supporting the Boeing Production System projects in the process area including the implementation of Lean initiatives rate readiness projects change & variant incorporations
- Support the manufacturing team in the development and enhancement of manufacturing processes and converting them into flow diagrams and site drawings
- Leading the activities for the process area associated with:
- Boeing Production System (BPS)
- Safety
- MRB
- Continuous Improvement
- Quality performance
- Production technical support
- Corrective Action
- Productivity Rate Improvements
- Ensuring the Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) database is being monitored updated and functioning throughout the shift
- Mentor and coach others to implement Lean behaviours and processes that will secure productivity and production rate gains
- Coordinate Cross Functional Team to meet Program Targets in Quality Cost Delivery and Inventory through implementing BPS
- Implementing process performance enhancements.
- Participate in BPS Transformations within the process area and interfacing with functional disciplines external customers and suppliers
- Participation in resolving programmatic and technical problems impacting cost schedule and quality performance as required
- Lead Risk Issue Opportunities (RIO) for future state activities
- Leads and coordinates others in the use of project management tools to negotiate scope analyse risk establish schedules and manage assigned projects
- Interface with other Manufacturing Support Analysts in the consistent implementation of BPS
- Coordinate prioritisation of competing activities between stakeholders
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- Experience in cross functional collaboration leading and influencing others to solve problems and support the production team
- Experience developing strategic plans and metrics using BPS / Leanmethodologies and other BAA applicable tools and processes
- Experience in leading coaching supporting staff and driving change in a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to ensure program deliverables are achieved
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage conflict and negotiate
- Ability to lead a teams safety culturesetting high expectations and leading via the behaviors and values
- Ability to work on day shift is essential

Additional Information:
This is a non-Enterprise Agreement position IJC DALPI3. Remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience. The successful candidate may be required to complete pre-employment checks and a 3-month probationary period.
