Job Summary

Join our Team:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to fill a vital role in support of a key Defence Nuclear Sector Client able to commit to this long term infrastructure project management role.

Your Mission:

  • Daily Portfolio Support: Assist the client with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review lessons learned to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all procedures align with the client standards.
  • Programme Coordination: Support enabling programs like Digital OCP and Nuclear Baseline.
  • Promote Collaboration: Lead a culture of openness and teamwork across the organization.
  • Efficiency Exploration: Identify opportunities to share resources and create synergies across client programs.
  • Best Practices: Bring in external expertise to enhance portfolio management.
  • Resource Management: Serve as the main point of contact for resource performance quality and personnel issues.
  • Contract Management: Represent the consultant in managing contracts communications and risk with the client.

This role requires a strong focus on leadership collaboration and continuous improvement to ensure the successful delivery of the client portfolio.  


Qualifications :

Skills to be successful:

This role demands a strong focus on stakeholder engagement project management expertise and commercial acumen. Key attributes include:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Project Knowledge: Deep understanding of project management including how various elements integrate and contribute to overall success.
  • NEC Experience: Familiarity with NEC contracts is required.
  • Leadership in Meetings: Ability to knowledgeably lead meetings especially for Early Warnings and other critical discussions.
  • Full-Time Role: This is a full-time position with 3 days in the office based in Glasgow.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial understanding to drive successful outcomes.
