Job Summary
Raffles The Red Sea is seeking a professional and customer-focused In Room Dining Order Taker to join our hospitality team in Umluj Saudi this role you will be the primary point of contact for guests ordering food and beverages to their rooms delivering exceptional service that reflects our commitment to luxury hospitality. You will process orders with accuracy and efficiency while providing personalized recommendations and ensuring every guest interaction exceeds expectations.
- Answer in-room dining calls promptly and professionally providing guests with menu information and recommendations
- Accurately record guest orders in the point-of-sale system ensuring all special requests and dietary requirements are clearly documented
- Communicate orders to the kitchen and room service teams in a timely manner to maintain service efficiency
- Address guest inquiries regarding menu items pricing and service options with knowledge and courtesy
- Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions while maintaining service standards
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism escalating issues when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of orders and guest preferences to enhance future service experiences
- Follow all food safety hygiene and service protocols established by the hotel
- Coordinate with room service staff to ensure timely delivery and guest satisfaction
- Multitask effectively during peak service periods while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Qualifications :
- Proven customer service experience in a hospitality or food service environment
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Professional phone etiquette and courteous demeanor
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards and menu terminology (preferred)
- Multilingual capabilities particularly Arabic and English (preferred)
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest requests with flexibility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and food allergies (preferred)
