Job Summary
At Guzman y Gomez we believe in authentic flavors and the power of food to bring people together. As a Shift Leader at GYG you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable dining experiences.
Your role will include:
- Team up with fellow managers to train lead coach and inspire your crew while keeping the energy high on every shift
- Champion a customer-first mindset by delivering standout service to both new faces and regular guests
- Maintaining high quality food safety cash handling cleaning and stock control
- Be a proud ambassador of GYG by making sure all crew members live and breathe our values policies and procedures
- Communicate clearly and confidently with the restaurant team to keep everyone aligned
- Be hands-on with managing labour and COGS to help drive a successful profitable store
- Oversee deliveries like a pro ensuring orders are accurate and match invoices
We appreciate diverse experience but specifically we are looking for candidates who have:
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- A track record of providing outstanding customer service
- Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course
