0Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Radiation Oncology team as a casual on-call Medical Dosimetrist supporting our Oncology services at our ACR-accredited La Crosse and Tomah locations. You will work with a treatment team of four other Dosimetrists four Radiation Oncologists three APCs three Physicists and a strong team of Radiation Therapists.
What Youll Do:
You will design treatment plans by means of computer and /or manual computation to deliver radiation in accordance with a radiation oncologists prescription.
You will act as a consultant to the Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapists in patient set-up dosimetry treatment delivery and documentation.
Under the supervision of the Medical Physicists and Radiation Oncologists you will perform and assist in calibration of equipment quality assurance and radiation safety.
You will assure compliance with state federal and accrediting bodies regulatory requirements.

Whats Available:
Casual On-Call (non-benefit eligible position)
Remote/Hybrid Eligible; ideally onsite one day per week
Will train/orientate for approximately 8-10 weeks including the first two weeks onsite at our La Crosse campus
Flexible shifts based on individual availability typically Monday through Friday potential weekend call as needed
Minimum of 2 plans per week able to pick up additional plans as desired/available; will be expected to cover team FMLA and other PTO/absences
Starting pay of $50.74 per hour and up commensurate with your years of experience
What Youll Need:
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
5 years medical dosimetry experience
Effective communication skills to interact with patients families and other healthcare professionals and staff
Proficiency in planning 3D IMRT and VMAT in Eclipse and overall experience in Aria/Eclipse
