Job Summary
Title: KVCC Psychology Faculty (Full-time)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level:Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the Maine Community College System Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit.
Responsibilities:This full-time Psychology faculty position in the Social Sciences Department will begin in the Fall 2026 semester. Teaching responsibilities will include Introduction to Psychology Developmental Psychology Research Methods and a variety of psychology addition to teaching the faculty member will advise students develop curriculum conduct course assessment and participate in student success and retention activities. This is a full-time on-campus position. Course assignments may include in-person hybrid or online courses.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in psychology or related discipline
- 2 years experience teaching Psychology courses at a post-secondary level
Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in research methodology.
- Community college teaching experience
- Experience utilizing a learning management system such as Brightspace.
