Job Summary
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of total IT experience with a strong background in CDP (Cloudera Data Platform) administration minimum of 34 years of CDP Admin Experience.
- Handson expertise with Hadoop ecosystem components including HDFS Hive Yarn Kafka HBase and Spark
- Solid experience in Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat/CentOS distributions)
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS NTP Load Balancer basics SSH)
- Experience with Kerberos authentication and TLS encryption within big data platforms
- Working knowledge of Docker and basic Kubernetes orchestration
- Understanding of any one Cloud Infrastructure Providers (AWS / Azure or GCP)
- Familiarity with Cloudera Manager cluster monitoring via Grafana and Prometheus and troubleshooting
- Preferred to have Cloudera Certified Administrator for CDP Private Cloud Base (CCA131 or equivalent certifications
- Accustom to version control tools like Github/Gitlab and should be aware of Agile Methodology
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Must be willing to relocate quickly to UAE or Saudi Arabia based on project requirements
