If so were looking for a qualified Electrician to join the engineering team at Catnic based in Caerphilly.

What Youll Be Doing
As part of our close-knit engineering team youll report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and be responsible for keeping our plant and equipment running efficiently. Youll handle day-to-day electrical maintenance carry out preventative work and help implement improvements that make a difference to performance and reliability.
In this role youll:
- Maintain and repair machinery and support systems to reduce downtime
- Carry out preventative maintenance to avoid unplanned issues
- Support improvements to equipment and working processes
- Play an active role in your own learning and development
- Help deliver projects and upgrades that improve site performance
- Work alongside colleagues across departments and support third-party contractors when needed
Your work will help ensure customer orders are met on time safely and to a high standard contributing directly to the success of the wider business.
What Youll Need
To be considered for this opportunity youll need to be a time-served electrician ideally with a recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
You should also have:
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- A flexible proactive approach with a focus on safety
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with PLCs and control systems (preferred but not essential)
- A commitment to continuous improvement
