We are seeking an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a dynamic and well-resourced Science department in Wolverhampton. The Role
As a Chemistry Teacher you will be the subject specialist within a collaborative Science faculty. You will deliver high-quality practical-led lessons across KS3 and KS4 with a significant opportunity to lead A-Level Chemistry for a candidate with strong theoretical knowledge and a passion for post-16 success.
Key Responsibilities:
Practical Mastery: Designing and supervising safe engaging lab experimentsfrom titrations and organic synthesis to identifying unknown ions.
Curriculum Delivery: Teaching core concepts including atomic structure bonding quantitative chemistry and the periodic table.
STEM Advocacy: Contributing to the schools extracurricular program including Science clubs Royal Society of Chemistry competitions and university outreach.
Safety Leadership: Working closely with a dedicated team of technicians to ensure all practical work meets the highest Health & Safety standards (CLEAPSS).

About You
We are looking for a scientist who is as precise with a pipette as they are with a progress report.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or a closely related Chemical Science.
Has a proven track record of securing excellent outcomes at GCSE and/or A-Level.
Possesses excellent classroom management skills and the ability to simplify complex abstract concepts.
Is passionate about promoting careers in medicine pharmacy and chemical engineering.
