Job Summary
Salary: Market Related
Location: Cape Town
Type: Permanent
A well-established market leader in the construction industry requires a Storeman to manage and control stock within the stores area ensuring accurate inventory records efficient stock movement and organised storage operations.
Responsibilities
Receive inspect and verify incoming stock and materials
Record and update all stock movements accurately
Issue tools materials and equipment as required
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
Perform regular stock counts and support stock audits
Assist with invoicing and goods received vouchers (GRVs)
Ensure proper storage and housekeeping of the stores area
Report stock discrepancies shortages and damages
Support loading and unloading of deliveries when required
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a stores or inventory environment
Forklift licence (advantageous)
Knowledge of stock management and inventory control processes
Numerical and stock analysis capability
Basic computer literacy
Administrative skills
