Location: Belcourt. ND
Pay Rate: $60 per hour plus $1246 weekly travel stipends (if applicable)
Schedule: Monday Friday between 8:00 AM 7:00 PM (may include 4x10-hour shifts as scheduled by Pharmacy Director)
Contract Length: 5 months with option to extend
The Registered Pharmacist will support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced IHS facility assisting with the preparation verification and dispensing of approximatelyprescriptions per day. This role requires strong clinical judgment accuracy and excellent patient communication skills.
Requirements:

Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program
-
Active unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory
-
Current BLS certification
-
Minimum working knowledge of pharmacy systems (EHR RPMS ScriptPro preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications

Strong communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities:

Verify accuracy of prescriptions prior to dispensing
-
Counsel patients on safe and effective medication use
-
Respond to patient inquiries in person and via phone
-
Complete required documentation in accordance with policies
-
Maintain accurate records for controlled substances
-
Ensure compliance with HIPAA TJC and regulatory standards
-
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow efficiency
-
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and meetings
-
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
-
Communicate effectively with leadership regarding any issues or concerns
-
Provide culturally sensitive patient-centered care in a high-volume setting
