Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
About the role
The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for data analysis operations management and/or system configuration of Trade Compliance activities. This can be at site or global level. Report directly to the Head of Global Trade Compliance.
What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and implement compliance programs procedures and policies.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on trade compliance requirements and best practices.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and assess their potential impact on business operations.
- Undertake denied party screenings and known your customer checks or other due diligence activities.
What you will need
Bachelors degree in legal business international trade and or Supply Chain disciplines.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in trade compliance government regulations customs supply chain manufacturing procurement or logistics.
Experience in execution of compliance processes and controls.
Good understanding in international trade supply chain with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge in export control import & export and customs compliance.
Proficient written and verbal communication with above average presentation skills
Excellent skills in MS Office applications: Excel (vLook-up and Pivot Tables) Word & PowerPoint
SAP as and export control screening tool experience is a plus.
Experiences in semiconductor or electronics industries will be advantageous.
Language proficiency in Mandarin and English.
Ability to multi-task prioritize work and meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Able to manage workload with minimal supervision.
Flexible hours to accommodate regional and global responsibilities.
Accurate and pro-active and can-do-mentality ability to get things done and creative.
Possess excellent planning communication interpersonal organizational and analytical skills.
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to partner closely with internal key stakeholders e.g. logistics sales R&D manufacturing
