The role
TheSenior Security Compliance Analystis a pivotal role within our Cyber Security Governance Risk & Compliance the departments cyber security compliance and assurance program ensuring we meet mandatory requirements under the NSW Cyber Security Policy (CSP) ACSC Essential 8 ISO 27001 and other applicable frameworks through robust governance structured evidence management andhigh-qualityreporting.
This rolealso navigatesthe ongoing challenge of strengthening security awareness across the organisation while keeping up with evolving frameworkslegislationand best practices. The role requiresprovidingclear guidance on compliance processes analysing data to spot trends or gaps and working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve the departments overall security posture.

What you will bringto the role
Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complexcompliancechallenges and adapt to evolving situations.
Capable of driving outcomes while effectively involving stakeholders throughout the process fostering collaboration and buy-in.
Confidenceleading security complianceand assuranceactivities and comfortable working across teams to keep systems aligned with required standards.
Experience preparing for internal/external audits regulatory assessments or certification processes.
Working knowledge of the NSW Government compliance requirements and other security frameworks and standards such as Australian Signal Directorate (ASD) the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework and ISO/IEC 27001.
What is an essential requirement:
Tertiary qualifications in computer science information and technology or related technical field and/or relevant experience.
