With panoramic course and lake views Destination Geneva Nationals sprawling 56000-square-foot Clubhouse sets the stage for celebrations and memories year-round with its exquisite on-site member and resort events while drawing loyal diners overnight guests and golfers to the on-site turf smokehouse and new Paloma Cantina alongside GNs one-acre Himalayas-style putting course The Dance Floor. GN Banquets also support special events at the neighboring Ridge is your opportunity to join Destination Geneva Nationals premier Culinary team as Banquet Cook working closely with the Banquet Chef and culinary team to prepare and deliver exceptional cuisine for banquets conferences weddings and other special FUNCTIONSPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Assist the Banquet Chef in the preparation of menu items for banquets and events following standardized recipes and portion control a variety of appetizers salads main courses desserts and other culinary offerings ensuring high-quality taste texture and with the Banquet Chef and kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of cooking techniques with precision and attention to detail maintaining the desired flavor texture and consistency of proper cooking temperatures and monitor food items to prevent overcooking or with the culinary team to coordinate and synchronize the preparation and plating of multiple dishes for large-scale banquets and to strict food safety and sanitation standards following HACCP guidelines and local health handle store and rotate food products (using FIFO) to maintain freshness and prevent a clean and organized workstation as well as assist with general kitchen cleaning in the final plating and presentation of dishes ensuring visual appeal and adherence to banquet garnishes sauces and artistic touches to enhance the visual impact of each with the Banquet Chef to ensure consistency in presentation across all banquet effectively with the culinary team assisting in the coordination of activities and maintaining open lines of and assist other kitchen staff as needed fostering a positive and cooperative work any special requests dietary restrictions or guest preferences to the Banquet Chef and culinary team.
