Job Summary
JOB TITLE: DRAFTSMAN
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering or Design
- 3 years of drafting experience in oil & gas or construction
- Proficient in AutoCAD MicroStation or similar tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Detail-oriented with good communication skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings layouts and plans using AutoCAD MicroStation or other drafting software
- Interpret engineering sketches specifications and technical drawings to produce accurate drafts
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements
- Revise and update drawings based on design changes or site feedback
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and client specifications
- Maintain drawing registers and documentation for project records
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MicroStation and other drafting tools
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
