Als Werkstudent Labor & Materialchemie - Beschichtungstechnologien (m/w/d) bei MKS Instruments arbeiten Sie eng mit dem R&DTeam in Berlin zusammen und unterstützen experimentelle Entwicklungsaktivitäten im Bereich dekorativer und funktioneller dieser Rolle wirken Sie an laborbasierten Testprogrammen sowie an der Auswertung von Versuchsdaten mit die laufende Entwicklungs und Optimierungsprojekte unterstützen. Sie berichten in dieser Position an den R&D Manager.

Eine gute zeitliche Verfügbarkeit (ca. 15-20 Stunden/Woche) ist Voraussetzung. Eine parallele Einbindung in VollzeitPraktika oder Abschlussarbeiten ist währenddessen nicht vorgesehen.

Ihre Verantwortung

• Unterstützung des R&DTeams in Berlin bei täglichen Labor und Entwicklungsaktivitäten
• Durchführung von Laborversuchen an dekorativen und funktionellen Beschichtungen einschließlich galvanisch abgeschiedenem Chrom Nickel Kupfer sowie chemischem Nickel (Electroless Nickel)
• Planung Durchführung und Dokumentation von Versuchs und Messreihen im Labormaßstab
• Durchführung chemischer und physikalischer Messungen zur Schichtcharakterisierung z.B. Schichtdicken Oberflächen und Strukturanalysen
• Auswertung Dokumentation und Aufbereitung experimenteller Daten zur technischen Bewertung
• Unterstützung bei routinemäßigen Laborarbeiten einschließlich Gerätehandhabung Chemikalienmanagement sowie ordnungsgemäßer Entsorgung von Chemikalien und Proben

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen

• Eingeschriebener Student (m/w/d) der Chemie Material/Werkstoffwissenschaften Oberflächentechnik Chemieingenieurwesen oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs
• Zwingend erforderlich: praktische Laborerfahrung bevorzugt ab dem 4. Fachsemester (z.B. Laborpraktika im Studium Praktika Werkstudententätigkeiten)
• Erfahrung im experimentellen Arbeiten im Labor sowie im Umgang mit Mess und Analysedaten
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office insbesondere MS Excel
• Strukturierte zuverlässige und sicherheitsbewusste Arbeitsweise
• Gute Deutsch und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Sie arbeiten ca. 1520 Stunden pro Woche bei uns Start ab sofort. Unser Standort befindet sich in BerlinMoabit. Ihren Einsatz vergüten wir mit 1664 EUR/Stunde
