(Remote) DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between our software development and IT operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the systems and infrastructure that enable our development teams to release high-quality software faster and more reliably. You will play a key role in the automation deployment and maintenance of our cloud-based production systems.

What your impact will be:
Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
Build modify and maintain deployment packages and automated scripts.
Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Automate and streamline our operations and development processes.
Collaborate with development teams to design scalable reliable and maintainable infrastructure.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
Enhance IT infrastructure security protocols and ensure compliance with best practices.
Provide technical support and assistance to the Professional Services and Support teams.
Recommend and implement improvements to our development integration and support practices.
Mentor junior team members and perform code reviews.
What we are looking for:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps system administration or software development role.
Strong experience with programming languages such as Java or Python.
Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience working with databases including one or more of the following: MS SQL Oracle PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud is a strong asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player.
