Location: Grays Essex

Contract Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (based on experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History & Humanities Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in the Grays area. This is a permanent full-time opportunity starting from September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in History and across the Humanities curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
Monitor student progress provide feedback and tailor support to meet diverse learning needs.
Contribute to the wider school community including curriculum development and enrichment activities.
What Were Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS.
Experience delivering History and ideally some Geography or RE content.
A passion for inspiring young learners and making Humanities subjects relevant and exciting.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
