Job Title: Front-End Engineer (Web & Mobile)

Duration: 7-Month Contract (with possible extensions)

Location: Remote

Rate: $25-30/hr on W2

Role Overview

The Front-End Engineer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining modern web and mobile user interfaces using React-based technologies. This role focuses on delivering scalable high-quality and user-centric applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional and client-facing teams. The engineer will contribute to both new feature development and the evolution of existing platforms with an emphasis on performance reusability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
Translate UX/UI designs into clean reusable and accessible components
Implement state management routing and API integrations following best practices
Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React and

Application Architecture & Quality

Contribute to scalable front-end architecture supporting multi-brand or white-label experiences
Ensure code quality through reviews testing and adherence to coding standards
Optimize applications for performance reliability and maintainability
Collaborate with QA to support testing bug resolution and release readiness

Collaboration & Client Engagement

Work closely with designers backend engineers QA and product stakeholders
Participate in client-facing discussions demos and requirement reviews
Collaborate with distributed teams including US-based team members across time zones

Minimum Requirements

3 years of professional experience as a Front-End Engineer
Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript (ES6)
Hands-on experience building applications with React Native or
Experience consuming and integrating front-end applications with backend services
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with headless CMS platforms (e.g. Sanity)
Familiarity with white-label or multi-brand architectures
Experience collaborating with distributed or US-based engineering teams
Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and quality practices
Experience working on long-running production-grade applications
