Job Summary

Antonucci Wholesale Foods is seeking a dedicated and EXPERIENCEDlight truck driver to join our Gloversville NY team. The ideal candidatemusthave experience in box truck route and delivery driving. Applicants should possess excellent customer service skills. This position involves driving various box trucks and requires the ability to handle heavy lifting. All vehicles are automatic.

Responsibilities
- This position works five days per week never on Sundays

- Days start between5:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.

- Safely drive trucks to transport and deliver food products

- Unload cargo

- Follow specific routes and time schedules

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

- Use our software to ensure proper logs of your work

- Provide excellent customer service.

*Skills*

-Validandcleandrivers license (NON-CDL/CDL);

- Must have an activeDOTMedical Card;

- Ability to operate a pallet jack and other unloading equipment;

- Proficient in route driving and navigation;

- Strong physical stamina for lifting;

Experience
- Proven experience in safe commercial driving -- CDLnotrequired.
- Familiarity with operating box trucks and making deliveries to various addresses.

- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.

Knowledge of seafood handling a plus.
