Strategy Support Consultants
The ESD Central Team Marketing Consultant role supports Marketing Managers in the development of dealer specific Growth Plans with scope in machine technology and aftermarket services.
The role involves working in collaboration with Caterpillar and Dealer teams through deep data analysis identifying priority customer segments problem statements root causes potential solutions and ultimately supporting the creation of a granular execution plan which will lead to robust governance and growth over the next 3-5 years.
Additionally the Marketing Consultant will support the dealer and regional industry team in the implementation of the plan.
This position will be focused primarily in EAME and supporting Rental/Used and BCP growth plans.
What you Will Do:
- Support development of multiyear strategic and tactical execution plans with a focus on business growth.
- Support business analysis to uncover unique customer needs process gaps and business drivers.
- Support the execution of dealer growth projects with internal partners and dealer network.
- Identifying potential roadblocks across the organization and working across teams to enable progress.
- Support the development of workshops and report out material.
- Responsible for alignment of project needs and data requirement.
- Responsible for creation and update of presentation material used to covey clear messaging through visuals and storytelling.
- Responsible for monitoring task completion leading to project Milestones.
- Support the coordination and facilitation of virtual face-to-face workshops voice of business collection and note taking.

- Bachelors degree preferably in business marketing communications economics statistics or a similar field with quantitative coursework.
- 5 years or more of professional experience.
- Experience working with Cat Dealers in Operations; Marketing; Sales or Strategy.
- MS Suite of products experience.
- Strong Excel and Power Point skills.
Additional Expertise:
- Experience in Construction Industry BCP or Rental.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- 2 years of Data Analytics experience.
- 2 years of equipment sales experience.
- Able to communicate fluently in English.
Additional Information:
- Expected travel at 25% - 40%.
