Job Summary

Position

As HSE Manager you will be responsible for further developing implementing and monitoring the safety and well-being policy within Camco Technologies.

You will be based at our main site in Heverlee (offices production and warehouses) and will support our project activities both domestically and internationally. To this end you will work closely with management HR and our external safety service provider IDEWE.

Safety and well-being are the top priorities in this role. Quality management and certification processes are also part of the scope but will be further developed at a later stage.

Your Responsibilities
Safety & Prevention

Serve as the Level 1 internal prevention advisor and central point of contact for all HSE-related matters.

Develop update and monitor the Global Prevention Plan (GPP) and the Annual Action Plan (AAP).

Collaborate with the external prevention service IDEWE (24 half-days per year).

Advise management and supervisors on safety health and well-being.

Conduct and follow up on risk assessments.

Develop update and review safety procedures and safety documentation.

Developing and following up on corrective and preventive measures.

Organizing workplace inspections and safety rounds.

Investigating incidents workplace accidents and near-misses including root cause analyses.

Coordinating the follow-up on action items.

Drafting and updating workstation profiles.

Organizing training sessions and awareness initiatives related to safety.

Reintroducing and organizing the annual safety day.

Supporting well-being initiatives in close collaboration with HR.

International project sites

Supporting project activities at national and international locations.

Advising project teams on safety requirements and risk management.

Helping to monitor safety standards at project sites worldwide.

Willingness to travel internationally on a limited basis (approximately 10%).

Quality & Compliance (Phase Two)

Helping to further develop the existing quality management system.

Updating existing QMS documentation.

Restart and oversee the ISO 9001 certification process.

Support initiatives related to ISO 27001 and information security.

Collaborate with external consultants as needed.

Prepare for and oversee internal and external audits.

Your profile

You hold a Level 1 Safety Advisor certification (required).

You have several years of experience in an industrial technical or manufacturing environment.

You have a hands-on approach and are not afraid of administrative tasks.

You understand that safety is not just about rules but above all about practical solutions.

You are able to set priorities and implement a long-term vision step by step.

You have the maturity to work independently and to engage stakeholders at various levels.

You are patient and understand that change takes time.

You enjoy bringing structure where it is currently lacking.

You work meticulously and pay close attention to documentation and follow-up.

You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
