QHSE Manager
Job Summary
Position
As a QHSE Manager you are responsible for developing implementing and monitoring our QHSE policy. You promote quality awareness and a culture of preventive work.
You will have the opportunity to shape the role yourself and determine priorities together with management.
Your main workplace will be Heverlee but you are willing to travel to international sites several times a year (maximum 10%).
You are the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (both nationally and internationally) in the field of safety and quality.
You are responsible for maintaining the ISO 9001 quality system operational and up to date including its documentation.
You evaluate the effectiveness of the quality system through internal audits and advise on the necessary improvement actions.
You take responsibility for preparing the Annual Action Plan (AAP) and the Global Prevention Plan (GPP) including the related budget and objectives within this area.
You inform management about various activities planning status and costs.
You train and coach managers team leaders and employees in the field of QHSE.
You contribute to finding (technical) solutions related to the event of incidents accidents and near misses you are responsible for carrying out root cause analyses and implementing the resulting action plans.
Your profile
To successfully perform the above tasks and responsibilities you hold a Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in a technical field and you have a Level 1 Prevention Advisor certificate.
You have several years of experience in a quality-related role within a manufacturing organization and have an affinity with improvement projects within organizations.
You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
You can describe yourself as a perseverant accurate and analytically strong person. You are someone who knows how to convince and motivate others through a team-oriented and coaching approach.
