Position Purpose:
Mammography Technologist PRN to work in the Radiology Department at St Marys Hospital in Athens Georgia.
What you will do:
- Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.
- Maintains technical competency through continued education.
- Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
- Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
- Enters patients questionnaire release form and all other paperwork into system.
What you will need:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced registry in mammography required. Continuing education credits in Mammography required.
- Education:Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school
- Experience: Two years mammography experience preferred.
