Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer with strong Playwright expertise to build and scale automation across modern web applications.

This role is not about writing test cases alone its about engineering quality into the system working closely with developers and ensuring reliability across UI and API layers in a fast-moving microservices-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
Build robust scalable and reusable test scripts for UI and API testing
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket Jenkins GitHub Actions)
Collaborate with developers and product teams to shift-left quality practices
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Work with mocking stubbing and test data management
Analyze failures debug issues and ensure high test stability and reliability
Contribute to test strategy coverage planning and release quality metrics
Mentor junior QA engineers and drive automation best practices

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience in API testing (REST tools like Postman / Playwright API)
Good understanding of automation frameworks and design patterns
Experience with CI/CD integration
Familiarity with Git and version control practices
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
