Biochemist (Virology)

• Primary tasks include cell culture and molecular biology responsibilities to support various virology functions
• Secondary tasks consist of general housekeeping activities including general lab cleanliness maintaining lab stock emptying waste bins etc.

Qualifications :

• Cell culture virology and/or molecular biology background
• Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Excel)
• Familiarity with electronic notebook systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
• Familiarity with working with larger equipment sets and pressurized systems is preferred
• Bachelors degree in Science or other related degree concentration or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information :

• The position is full-time Monday through Friday  8am-5 pm
• May be requested to work on weekends overtime and holidays based on business needs.
