Job Summary
Food Production Press Operator
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Location: Salem OR
GLISS is now hiring reliable hard-working individuals to join a fast-paced bottling and packaging facility in Salem OR. Willing to train individuals with limited machine operating experience but MUST have food production experience at least 1 year. Ability to learn quickly and perform more detailed work in a loud and busy environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate pressing machinery to manufacture food products.
Stand for the entire shift in a fast-moving environment
Reach bend and press throughout the entire shift.
Package label and stack finished products as needed.
Inspect products for quality and consistency.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Follow all food safety and company guidelines.
Support the team with general production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be able to stand for full 8-hour shifts
Ability to lift and stack boxes regularly 30-50lbs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow safety rules
Prior food production or warehouse experience is a plus but not required
