Job Summary

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails resource to join our team at Bengaluru India Office.

Work Schedule

Candidates are required to follow the work schedule from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.

Job Responsibilities

- Hands-on development of technical projects.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Ensure application performance security and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks bugs and production issues.

- Adopt DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines containerization and cloud deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.

- 5-7 years relevant experience in custom embedded product development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails including designing developing and maintaining scalable web applications using object-oriented programming principles.

- Deep understanding of Rails architecture RESTful APIs MVC design patterns and application performance optimization.

- Working knowledge of database design and development preferably with MS SQL Express or similar relational databases.

Additional Job Standards

- Experience with cloud-based architectures and services (e.g. AWS Azure).

- Proficiency in Git-based version control systems and experience working in Agile development environments.

- Experience with front-end frameworks (React Angular ).

- Working Knowledge of Android OS.

- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

- Prior experience in scaling enterprise-level applications.

- ISO FDA or other regulated industry training and experience desired.

- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.

- Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle complex technical challenges.

- Commitment to clean maintainable and well-documented code.

- Adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs.
