Logan Health is looking for a Nutrition Services Technician to join our this role you will help support daily food service operations while providing excellent service to patients visitors and staff.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment values teamwork and takes pride in delivering quality service that makes a real difference. From food prep and stocking to patient meal support and customer service this role is an important part of creating a positive experience for those we serve.

What Youll Do

• Practice safe food handling and sanitation procedures in all assigned duties
• Keep work areas clean organized and ready for service
• Provide excellent customer service to patients visitors and team members
• Operate assemble and set up equipment in accordance with sanitation standards
• Maintain and stock service areas according to department protocols
• Accurately follow recipes production sheets and daily prep assignments
• Record food and equipment temperatures according to department procedures
• Support patient meal service by obtaining meal selections preparing and/or delivering trays and providing compassionate service as needed
• Help ensure smooth daily operations within Nutrition Services
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance as scheduled by department leadership

What Youll Bring

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare or food service preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Critical thinking skills and a self-motivated approach to work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
• Commitment to teamwork and maintaining confidentiality as needed
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Depending on assigned area preferred qualifications may include:

• ServSafe certification or Food Handlers certification
• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation
• Previous barista experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience understanding and following recipes
• Additional Logan Health training and/or certifications as applicable to assigned area(s)
