**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Automatic Door Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of automatic door systems. This part-time role requires a highly reliable individual with the knowledge and ability to work independently to ensure our clients receive the best service possible.
**Responsibilities:**
- Install troubleshoot and repair various types of automatic doors including sliding swinging and revolving doors.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and services to ensure optimal door functionality.
- Diagnose problems and make suitable repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
- Document service activities maintaining accurate records of repairs and installations.
- Provide excellent customer service addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies during all service operations.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in related fields are advantageous.
- Proven experience as an Automatic Door Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and electronic door systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to professional service delivery.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift and handle tools and parts as needed.
