Position Overview
Due to continued business growth we are currently recruiting a Assistant Geospatial Engineer to join our Geospatial Engineering Department on a permanent basis. This role based in London is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career contributing to high-profile projects while working alongside senior geospatial engineers. Youll apply and expand your expertise in construction and surveying learning from industry experts and gaining valuable insights. This role offers tremendous professional growth and the chance to shape cutting-edge solutions on impactful projects.
What You Will Do
- Setting out for different trades in construction.
- Ability to understand and complete survey capture and control works.
- Prepare and analyse data for set-out
- Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Stations GNSS UAV HDS imaging tools GPS Data Collectors.
- Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope
- Perform detailed field and office surveying work
- Utilisation of post processing software such as AutoCAD StarNet and BRICSCAD.
- Any other duties as required by the business.
What You Will Bring
- Have relevant qualifications (Surveying Geomatics or Engineering) and/or 1 years of relevant experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying and geospatial engineering especially control networks.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
- Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology.
- Experience working in infrastructure and construction.
- Experience with HD Laser Scanning technology and software (desired but not essential).
- Experience with machine control (desired but not essential).
- Possess a full clean UK/ International Drivers licence
- Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
- Possess a CSCS card or be prepared to start the process
- The right to work in the UK.
