Position Responsibilities:
Obtain job assignments from LSDI and prioritizeworkaccordingly retrieving parts from dollies as needed.
Review CMES and access online systems todeterminework requirements verify operation/production information and ensure parts match work orders.
Retrieve download and verify the most current Numerical Control (NC) programs on machine controllers from various servers/databases.
Independently set upoperate and adjust multi-axis NC drilling machines using program documents and control media; perform hole preparation drilling countersinking and other machine-adapted tasks.
Select inspect andmaintaindrills per program specifications ensuring correct type size and condition;replaceas necessary.
Monitor machine operation for unusual vibrations sounds and warning indicators; notify supervisors of malfunctions.
Check andmaintainfluid levels and work supports; adjust machine buttons and clamps to secure parts properly.
Load parts with correct indexing visually inspect during and after operations and perform self-inspections with A stamp approval.
Use precision measuring tools (e.g. dial calipers pin gauges) and perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) functions to ensure parts meet production specifications.
Access andutilizecontrol charts and online computer systems to verify part conformity and log production data into machine memory.
Verify machine-generated Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) tape data against specifications.
Train andassistother employeesonNC programs control charts tools and procedures.
Consult with management programming planning engineering and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.
Record operating data as required and perform tool try-outs and first part checks.
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with company and governmental regulations.
Maintain personal and tool certifications as.
Communicate machine adjustments andsetupinformation to less experienced employees.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15lbsto 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching handling turning twisting lifting lowering climbing balancing bending kneeling crouching and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals solvents and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools sharp cutters and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes hands/arms and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate willbe requiredto workonsiteat one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications
3 Years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
3 Years of experience working with precision measuring tools.
3 Years of experience operating 3 4 or 5 axis NC/CNC machine tools.
Must be able to stand and walk throughout work shift (6 hours) as well as carry and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
3 Years of experience with drilling and/or precision drilling.
Conflict of Interest:
Successful candidates for this position must successfully complete the Companys Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Typical Education & Experience:
High schoolgraduateor GED preferred.
