The Operations Team Leader will lead a team of Operations Leaders and is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day tactical execution of delivery and production plans across all customers and engine programs produced within the shop. This role reports to the Plant Fulfillment Leader who is accountable for Delivery Production Control and Sourcing for the site.
The Operations Team Leader will ensure all functions within the shop are supported and have clear direction for success every day while prioritizing Safety Quality Delivery and Cost - in that order.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • People leadership:Providing coaching performance management and prioritizing safety and development of team
  • Daily tactical coordination:Lead daily delivery operating rhythms ensure clear priorities handoffs and alignment across Engine Programs and with Production Control and Sourcing.
  • Cross-functional leadership:Coordinate cross-functional engagement with manufacturing quality sourcing/purchasing logistics and engineering to remove roadblocks mitigate risk and execute on customer and Product Line commitments.
  • Issue resolution and problem solving:Use judgment to make decisions and solve moderately to complex operational problems in real time; leverage data and team input to prioritize actions and deploy structured problem-solving to address delivery and flow constraints.
  • Safety quality and compliance:Champion safety as the number one priority; partner with EHS and Quality to ensure safe work practices customer requirements specifications and regulatory standards are met; drive robust corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Standard work and operating mechanisms:Ensure consistent use of daily management tier meetings visual management and standard work across the Operations Leader team to enable transparency rapid escalation and effective execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Materials Production Planning or Operations leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Materials Production Planning Operations or Manufacturing including demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional execution in a manufacturing environment
