About the Role

The Housekeeping/Food Service Worker supports shelter operations by maintaining cleanliness assisting with food service and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas kitchens and dining areas.
  • Assist with food preparation serving and cleanup in accordance with sanitation standards.
  • Wash dishes utensils pots and food service equipment.
  • Follow infection control health and safety procedures.
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory control.
  • Remove trash and maintain sanitation of waste areas.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
