The Mount Greylock Regional School District (MGRSD) serving the communities of Lanesborough and Williamstown Massachusetts is seeking a qualified Long-Term Substitute Occupational Therapist to provide services during the temporary absence of a full-time staff member. This assignment is anticipated to last a minimum of two (2) weeks and may be extended based on district needs.
Position Overview
The Long-Term Substitute Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) supporting students access to the curriculum and participation in the school environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct screenings and contribute to evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with special education staff general education teachers related service providers and administrators
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies to support fine motor sensory and functional skill development
- Maintain accurate service logs and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings including IEP meetings as appropriate
- Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student progress
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist through the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professions
- Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong collaboration communication and organizational skills
Compensation
Compensation will be based on the Mount Greylock Regional School Districts long-term substitute pay rate of $260 per day.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required background checks including CORI and SAFIS fingerprinting in accordance with Massachusetts law.
