Site Relocation Support Technician
Aversan Inc.() is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Site Relocation Support Technician to join our team. This role will provide hands-on assistance for the relocation of our clients Toronto offices including technical floor environments. This role supports planning packing equipment movement workstation setup inventory verification and on-site readiness activities.
Location: Scarbrough ON
Job Type: Contract- Flexibility to work some weekends
Working Arrangement: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Assist with packing labeling and staging of tools and equipment.
- Support movement set up and verification activities across the technical floors.
- Assist with asset inventory and tracking of equipment and materials before and after the move.
- Support tagging labeling and verification of equipment locations.
- Maintain relocation checklists and documentation.
- Support coordination with Facilities IT Security and EHS.
- Participate in daily briefings and provide floor support.
- Assist with site readiness walkthroughs and punch lists.
Basic Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program (any discipline).
- Proficient in reading writing and verbally communicating in English with strong comprehension skills.
- Able to lift 2530 lbs and perform hands-on physical tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working in technical/industrial environments.
- Data entry capability with accuracy and attention to detail; required for maintaining barcode and asset tracking databases.
- Experience working with databases or digital inventory systems is considered an asset.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Ability to follow instructions effectively and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience in logistics facilities or operational support.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Own vehicle required.
