Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for owning endtoend financial performance management for assigned regions or functions. This role serves as the primary finance business partner to operational and executive leadership ensuring financial accuracy narrative clarity and decisionready insights. The Finance Manager leads forecasting budgeting close and performance management while driving analytical rigor governance and process improvement across the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Performance Management
Own the full financial rhythm for assigned areas including Budget Forecast MonthEnd Close MD&A and Make the Year execution
Act as the primary P&L owner for regions or functions ensuring financial accuracy and clear consistent storytelling
Translate financial results into clear implications risks and decisions for Regional Area and Executive leadership
Proactively identify margin volume and rate risks and opportunities and develop actionable mitigation or growth plans
Establish and maintain KPI standards definitions and monitoring cadence ensuring consistency across teams
Review challenge and approve analyses before delivery to senior and executive leadership
Data Analysis & Financial Modeling
Own and maintain the analytical frameworks used by the team including forecast logic scenario models and ROI analyses
Ensure models and analyses reflect business and operational reality not just mathematical accuracy
Partner with Data Operations and IT teams to define and maintain sourceoftruth datasets
Drive governance standards related to assumptions version control and documentation
Coach and develop analysts to focus on insight narrative and recommendations not just outputs
Stakeholder Communication & Business Partnership
Serve as the primary finance liaison to business partners ensuring effective twoway communication
Lead structured financial discussions that drive accountability alignment and informed decisionmaking
Simplify complex financial concepts for nonfinance audiences
Own financial messaging to ensure consistency across decks emails and meetings
Anticipate leadership questions and prepare teams with proactive decisionready insights
Lead training and enablement related to finance tools models and expectations
Process Improvement & Capability Development
Promote a culture of continuous improvement learning and financial excellence
Identify process gaps and lead initiatives that reduce manual effort and increase scalability
Prioritize automation and repeatable solutions over oneoff fixes
Partner with FP&A leadership to shape team capability and skill development roadmaps
Build durable financial processes that support growth organizational change and acquisitions
Growth & Strategic Support
Act as a finance business partner on adhoc analyses including growth initiatives de novos acquisitions and compensation planning as needed
Partner with Finance Leadership to monitor and assess business performance and efficiency through proactive analysis
Support Executive Leadership Team (ELT) reporting and cadence including company databooks midmonth reforecasts and performance reviews
Qualifications & Skills
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ownership of P&L forecasting and performance management
Advanced analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate data into insight
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
Proven ability to lead ambiguity challenge assumptions and influence decisions
Strong organizational prioritization and execution capabilities
Experience driving process improvement governance and automation in FP&A environments
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
BA in Business with majors in Accounting and/or Finance (or both)
Three or more years of work experience in Finance Accounting or Analytics
