Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
Assigningworksof daily planned activitiesofWarehouse.
Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
Achievinghigh levelsof customer satisfaction through excellence in receivingidentifyingdispatchingand assuring quality of goods
Measure andreport onthe effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determinestaffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record document necessaryinformationandutilizereports to project warehouse status
Identifyareas of improvement andestablishinnovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed whenoperatingforklifts and other machinery
Required Experience & Skill Sets:
Clear knowledge of warehouse operations
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Management skills
Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiently
Proficiencyin inventory and/or invoice software
Ability to remain stationed for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor.
