Job Summary:

Were looking for The Automation & Robotics Engineer who will be responsible for implementing and developing automation processes in a newly established manufacturing facility. The position requires practical knowledge of production automation a Lean Manufacturing approach and the ability to identify optimization opportunities within a production environment. The Automation & Robotics Engineer will join the core team that plays a crucial role in the facilitys further development. At the initial stage the person will be responsible for organizing and coordinating activities within the newly created structure offering a unique opportunity for professional growth and the possibility of taking on broader responsibilities in the future.

The position is based in Bydgoszcz Poland.

Key responsibilities:

Developing and implementing automation and robotics projects in the area of manual assembly.

Participating in technology transfer projects and in launching production in the new facility.

Programming and configuring industrial robots PLCs and machine vision systems to perform complex tasks.

Integrating new automated equipment with existing production lines and enterprise systems (like MES/SCADA).

Troubleshooting and optimizing the performance reliability and cycle time of automated systems to meet production goals.

Ensuring all systems are designed and operate in compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.

Driving a culture of continuous improvement and optimization of production processes.

Collaborating with the project engineering team involved in setting up the new plant.

Participation in international projects and collaboration with teams across other company locations.

Qualifications:

University degree in a technical field (preferred: automation robotics mechatronics mechanical engineering or related).

Experience in implementing optimization projects related to automation and robotics in production processes.

Ability to program and configure PLC controllers and industrial robots.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methods.

Very good English skills both spoken and written (international environment).

Ability to lead complex projects.

Willingness to travel internationally.

Proactive mindset independence and the ability to work effectively in a developing organizational structure.
