A behavioral health organization in Ohio is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead its mental health and substance use services program.

Core Responsibilities
Provide executive oversight of behavioral health and substance use services
Lead clinical and administrative teams
Improve staff retention and workplace culture
Ensure compliance with state and program regulations
Create operational systems and accountability structures
Partner with ownership and board-level stakeholders
Monitor program quality performance metrics and service outcomes
Develop and execute strategies to grow the agency including marketing community outreach and referral development
Build partnerships with referral sources community organizations and stakeholders to increase census and program reach
Ideal Candidate
Prior Executive Director or senior leadership experience in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment programs
Strong understanding of regulated healthcare environments
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
Proven ability to improve retention and culture
Experience driving agency growth census building or marketing initiatives
Balanced leadership style structured but human-centered
Operationally strong and emotionally intelligent
