Join MMUUSD a collaborative and supportive district as our Coordinator of Special this role youll support students growth and success by leading Special Education Section 504 and Preschool programs mentoring staff and collaborating with Principals to provide the services and supports students need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning oversight and evaluation of special services programs
- Serve as LEA representative for evaluations and IEP meetings
- Mentor and support special education staff across the district
- Collaborate on professional development staffing and Extended School Year programs
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree and Vermont Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
- Current or eligible for Director of Special Services license
- Minimum 5 years of relevant special education experience
- Strong leadership collaboration and organizational skills
