The opportunity
We are looking for a master student to work as an intern (6 months) about HVDC System Reliability Analysis. As part of this work the student will contribute towards the development of a simulation based framework for analyzing system reliability against operational stresses. The student will join our team of Grid Management and Optimization in Mannheim Germany.
How youll make an impact
Literature review on HVDC system reliability.
Identify relevant indicators and relate them to system behavior using appropriate modelling methods.
Support system level reliability studies based on different operating scenarios.
Documentation and presentation of results.
Your background
- Master Student preferred (Electrical) Engineering Informatics Physics
Organized analytical and structured individual
Good programming skills in Python
Knowledge of MATLAB is an advantage
fluent English is required German knowledge is a plus
