Associate Veterinarian Lynchburg Virginia
A veterinary hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established and collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive environment while building strong relationships with clients and patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical surgical and preventive care for companion animals
- Perform wellness exams diagnostics and routine procedures
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses treatment options and follow-up care
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
- Contribute to a positive collaborative team culture
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
