Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead oversee and ensure the successful delivery of one or more IT projects. This role is responsible for managing projects within scope timeline budget and quality standards while adapting to dynamic business needs and driving overall value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across the full project lifecycle
- Review project proposals to determine scope timelines funding and resource requirements
- Define project deliverables milestones and schedules
- Provide leadership direction and motivation to project teams
- Establish work plans assign responsibilities and manage project resources effectively
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Develop and execute project communication plans
- Monitor project progress ensuring quality accuracy and consistency
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular status updates
- Maintain project documentation records and reporting standards
- Produce weekly status reports and present updates in stakeholder and portfolio meetings
- Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects analysts and operations
- Support PMO initiatives training and continuous improvement efforts
- Coach and mentor junior team members and stakeholders on project management practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 years of experience in project management
- 4 years of experience managing IT or technology-related projects
- Active PMP certification (required)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile PMI frameworks)
- Experience with project planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Planner)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Solid understanding of business processes and IT systems
- Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing cloud-related projects
- Relevant cloud certifications
