Pay Rate: $21.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance access and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verify access permissions when appropriate and support screening procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of daily activities incidents and/or observations and communicate relevant information to supervisors client representatives and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
