Job Summary
Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater to work at (Atlanta GA).
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch break.
Due to business needs and travel may start as early as 6:45am-and work as late as 6:00pm depending on work location.
Floater will cover: Atlanta Sandy Springs and Brookhaven
Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens paternity tests alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
Preferred Qualifications:
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
5 years or more within phlebotomy experience
Additional Job Standards:
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Benefits:Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical Dental Vision Life STD/LTD 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible toparticipatein the 401(k) Plan only. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr. plus mileage reimbursement.
PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
