About the Project
ACCIONAs Mechanical & Electrical team supports major civil water and industrial infrastructure works across Melbourne. The workshop fabricates structural steel pipework and mechanical components that support construction and maintenance programs. Work may extend to local sites with a focus on safe delivery and reliable workmanship. The team values precision and practical problem solving.
About the Opportunity
The Boilermaker / Welder fabricates installs and maintains structural steel pipework equipment frames and small vessels. The role is based at the Port Melbourne workshop with occasional site work. It requires precise workmanship safe tool use and the ability to work independently or in a small team.
Key Accountabilities
- Fabricate steel pipework and metal components
- Install equipment frames skids and plant items
- Maintain and repair steelwork and mechanical parts
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Read drawings and complete precise work
- Support workshop and site tasks
Required Skills and Competencies
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (MEM31922)
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- High-Risk Work Licences (EWP) and others an advantage
- Current Driver Licence
- At least 5 years experience in industrial welding or boilermaking
