Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at a government location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report details according to post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for conditions that may require a response.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and/or public access points verify credentials when required and document security-related incidents observations and daily activities in assigned reports.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with site contacts first responders and/or supervisors during alarms evacuations or other service-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
