As a Security Officer Patrol Reception Specialist in Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Our Security Officers patrol a busy logistics and distribution location helping to monitor access points observe activity and support security-related operations with professionalism and this unarmed role you will remain visible conduct routine patrols and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas warehouse spaces trailer yards parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points verify visitor and/or driver entry activity and report suspicious behavior operational concerns and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support daily location operations by helping with foot and/or vehicle patrols observing package flow and high-traffic areas and completing routine reports related to security-related incidents and/or observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
